Tell us a bit about your experience
With over a decade of experience in Real Estate and Luxury Project Marketing, I also spent 7+ years in property recruitment, specialising in design, architecture, development, and construction. My career has taken me across the Asia Pacific region, including work in luxury travel. Alongside this, my true passion lies in giving back—raising funds for not-for-profits and working closely with corporate organisations to build meaningful partnerships and strong community connections.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Victoria on the Mornington Peninsula.
What inspired you to work in Play Therapy?
As a mother to two young children (aged 10 and 8), I’ve come to deeply appreciate the power of connection, emotional support, and understanding during the early years. At Be Centre, I’m constantly inspired by our incredible team of trained play therapists—their wisdom not only supports the children they work with but has also helped me navigate the challenges of parenting. They offer a community of learning that I value immensely. What drives me is the desire to ensure that no child or parent has to face life’s challenges alone. If we can provide early intervention through Play Therapy, we can give families the tools to heal, grow, and thrive—creating a future generation of confident, resilient individuals. That vision inspires me every single day.
What do you like most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the opportunity to work with an incredible team and a broader community that genuinely cares—and knowing that together, we’re making a real difference in the lives of children and families. My role brings together all the things I’m most passionate about: building meaningful relationships, connecting people and communities, and creating partnerships that have lasting impact. It’s a blend of my professional strengths and personal values. Every day, I get to tap into my child self, lead with empathy, and show up not just as a colleague—but as a mother. That alignment between purpose and passion is what makes this work so special to me.
What kind of play do you enjoy the most?
I love all kinds of play that help me connect, unwind, and be in the moment—whether it’s dancing and listening to music, painting, doing puzzles, building Lego with my children, or playing board games as a family. I especially enjoy being in nature—swimming, snorkelling, and playing in the ocean. Travelling also brings out my playful side, offering new adventures and experiences to share with loved ones. For me, play is about joy, connection, and making meaningful memories with family and friends.
