About the Organisation

Be Centre is a charity pioneering play therapy as an early intervention approach for children aged 3-12 years who have suffered trauma.

Established in 2008, we are the largest charity in Australia dedicated to play therapy. We are currently NSW-based with a plan to expand nationally over the coming years.

Our Vision is to create a safer more resilient society through ensuring the future of all children. Our Mission is to be the leading provider of play therapy and help children heal through rewiring physical and emotional patterns created by trauma.

We have a flagship program that offers one-to-one weekly play therapy sessions over 12 weeks for the child as well as parent counselling/support for the parent/carer.

We also offer some group parent programs, and a weekly group Art Club that runs during
school term for children who have completed our flagship program.

We have plans to expand our program offering over the next three years.

We currently receive no government funding with all revenues raised through events, grants, and donations.
