Be Centre hosted its first Trivia Night and it was a blast!
We had all the classic Trivia staples like Heads and Tails game with a meat tray for the winner, raffle tickets and a silent auction were on offer.
But that’s not all! We also had the fantastic singer and guitarist of the Meldrums playing acoustic versions of the best Aussie rock while enjoying first-class views at the Waterfront Café. The result saw a very tight contest for first and second place. It was between the Crocodiles and the Rooneverse teams. Rooneverse took the title and was crowned ‘’Trivia Master for 2022.
We raised more than $6,000 for a great cause and danced the night away with friends. Best of all, we learnt trivial information that we might never use again (but who cares!) it was lots of fun and great to connect.
At Be Centre we are all about the ‘Need to Play and the importance of play at any age, so it is just logical that our events are all about integrating play. Playing games and trivia can be a fun way to exercise your brain and connect with others. Playing chess, completing puzzles, or pursuing other fun activities that challenge the brain can help prevent memory problems and improve brain function. The social interaction of playing with family and friends can also help ward off stress and depression.
Trivia questions can enhance memory and provide an opportunity for your brain to perform under pressure. If you play trivia, not only will your brain get the exercise, but you too will become calmer and more confident thinking in stressful situations.
With all these mental health benefits, it is a no-brainer (Pun intended) to book for the next Be Centre Trivia Night!
