Your school can run a fundraising event to raise much needed funds for children who are experiencing financial hardship to access Play Therapy at no charge to their family. It’s only $2,500 to help a child in need.

Set a date in your school’s fundraising calendar for 2025 now.  International Day of Play is on 11 June, Mental Health Awareness month is in October or pick any date that suits your school.

Help us heal as many children as possible! Schools understand better than anyone the increasing impact of mental health challenges on children’s ability to attend and engage in school.

At Be Centre Foundation, we’ve seen a surge in demand for our services due to rising anxiety, depression and other mental health issues among children in our community. These challenges profoundly affect children’s education and overall well-being, leading to absenteeism and effecting classroom engagement. We rely on the support of our school community to continue our vital work.

Mental Health Month in October 2025 presents a critical opportunity for our school community to raise awareness and educate children about mental health.

How can you get involved?  Host a Mental Health Fundraising Day!

WHEN: 11 June 2025 (International Day of Play) or October 2025. We’re not fussy – any funds we receive at any time help our children to thrive.

WHAT:  Students can wear casual clothes and bring a gold coin donation.

Free educational resources and support for teachers, parents, and carers around mental health.

All money raised will go directly to Be Centre Foundation to help us provide crucial mental health support to children.
