Dress for Mess Art – Sensory Based Fun
4–10 years Tuesday 11 April 2017 9.30–11.30am
Get creative with surprising materials and objects – a whole lot of fun! Amazing and interactive art workshops led by award-winning Sydney artist Karen Atkins.
Paint Birds like Brett Whiteley – A Children’s Masterclass
6–12 years Tuesday 11 April 2017 12.00–2.00pm
Brett Whiteley is one of Australia's most famous artists. As a young child he loved to visit Taronga Zoo and developed a fascination for birds – he even collected nests and eggs. In this class children will develop new skills and techniques to create their own bird masterpiece to take home.
Creative Construction
4–7 years Wednesday 12 April 2017 9.30–11.30am
8–12 years Wednesday 12 April 2017 12.00–2.00pm
Children will be encouraged to let their imagination come to life as they work to build their own LEGO® creations during this workshop. Great for promoting motor skills, social interaction and confidence. Free take-home surprise!
